10 week update
Not too much has changed. We are still living day by day. It seems like the colic gets better and then back to crappy.

Baby Eli's Nursery Reveal
As promised, baby Eli's nursery! I would have revealed it sooner, but we really really wanted to keep his name all to ourselves and how could I reveal his nursery without the hand stitched name pillow I made?!
Enjoy!

DIY Nursery, Part III
The last two decor pieces for the nursery were finished here recently. It might even be safe to say they are some of my favorite pieces! They were so last minute because I couldn't get my hands on them until I was about 27/28 weeks pregnant and then of course one of them was damaged.

DIY Nursery, Part II
I remember when I first started Pinterest planning my little baby's nursery. We didn't know gender yet but I knew I wanted it to be more on the gender neutral side. We weren't painting and we aren't allowed adhesives on the walls, so it was up to me to get creative.

DIY Nursery, part I
I should be expecting my son in about a month and I finished his nursery just days ago. Usually I would be chomping at the bit share how amazing it is but because we are keeping his name a secret, I will not be doing a full reveal until after his birth. What I will do in the meantime is share pieces and parts of it! His nursery has no specific theme aside from primary colors. I wanted my little man to have lots of bold colors to help with color vision development. Since we are in a rental home, we chose not to bother with painting the walls. This really gave me a lot of creative liberty when it came to decorations!

DIY Baby Shower: Part II
As I mentioned in my post 28-30 Weeks, we had a little baby shower here in Tennessee too. Yet again I planned the entire thing and all of my decorations were DIY masterpieces! I have to apologize again for the lack of decent pictures. You would think that for a photographer I would get better photos to share but the chaos just took over. So please bare with me!!
This shower was a laid back, co-ed cookout theme.

DIY Baby Shower: Part I
As I mentioned in my post The Second Trimester, I had a baby shower at about 27 weeks back home in Alabama. I made most everything myself! I designed the invite, made all of the decorations and made one of the games as well! My DIY approach saved SO much money! I choose to throw my on shower since I was planning it from about three hours away and didn't really have anyone back home to do it for me (not that had the time to, atleast). So saving money was essential.

DIY Burp Cloths
My mother-in-law is an avid quilter and made some burp cloths as a gift for me. This gave me the idea to make some as a gift for a very special friend of mine. Now, they are no where near perfect, but they sure are cute!
I stated out by making a pattern from a giftbag I had handy (lol) then using it to trace out and cut my fabric. For fabric I used a printed snuggle flannel and then a regular solid color flannel.
